Used for evaluating illuminating oils in respect of their ability to burn without smoke. The apparatus consists essentially of four parts lamp body, candle socket, candle and tripod stand. The candle may be raised or lowered by a micrometer screw arrangement. The size of the flame may be measured on a blue scale with white markings 0 to 50 mm. Further details available on our website.
